A right Royal occasion to celebrate


I experienced every conceivable emotion last night as my home town club secured promotion among the elite once more. For only the second time in their 141-year history Reading FC will line up in the English Premier League. Congratulations to everyone associated with the club.

Florence and the machine


Well, it was hard not to use a headline like that having spent today in this beautiful Tuscan city. The machine in this case is Ericsson and four of the major telecom operators who have partnered with the public transportation company ATAF to bring mobile ticketing to passengers.
